Intimacy with food allergies: kissing, dating and sex

Intimacy can look like a lot of things. It can be a warm friendship developing through long association and it can also be individuals engaging in sex or sexual relations.
“Intimacy with food allergies: kissing, dating and sex” aims to address intimacy through the lens of someone managing food allergies. We will walk through the phases of a relationship, right from courting to doing the deed.
Our panel of experts includes multiple adults managing food allergies; a food allergy husband, a counselor, and an allergist. They will bring their expertise and experiences to the table to discuss topics such as:
- Dating
- Relationship advice
- Setting up a safe space to get intimate – from setting boundaries to consent
- Sex and kissing – what you need to know from a medical perspective
And yes, we will be talking about bodily fluids!
